All of the coins listed below were in standard circulation until silver was removed from all coinage in 1965 and finally 1970 (40% silver half-dollars). The values below only reflect the silver melt value, not rarity or numismatic value (many times, the numismatic value of a coin can be 10,000 times greater than the actual melt value). This table should only be used as a guide for buying and selling silver coins.
