The North Africa Invasion Notes were issued as emergency currency to the armed forces stationed in North Africa during WWII. The yellow seal, rather than the normal blue seal on Silver Certificates easily identify these notes. The Hawaii notes were introduced after Pearl Harbor, when Hawaii became a danger spot in American defenses. It was a regular bill but the word "Hawaii" was overprinted on the reverse in large letters. These notes are easily recognizable by the brown seal and the words Hawaii in overprint on the reverse.
